Man United take on Crystal Palace in the Premier League this Wednesday.

And Solksjaer must be one nervous manager.

The Man United boss has confirmed that he is set to miss 10 key players for the midweek fixture but it is the forward department which could be the real cause of concerns.

Solskjaer has made it clear that Rashford, Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard are all likely to miss the Palace clash.

“Well, the three we had to take off [Herrera, Lingard, Mata], they’re not going to be ready,” Solskjaer told MUTV.

“As for Rashy [Marcus Rashford], we’re going to work on him for as long as we can to see if he gets ready because that wasn’t as bad as we first feared, so luckily I don’t think we damaged it any more by him finishing the game.

“He might have a chance of playing. Then again I don’t think there’ll be anyone else coming back for this game. So there’ll be a chance for the kids.

“Martial is not going to be ready for this one either. We can’t risk it, so maybe [he’ll be back for] Southampton but we’re not going to risk another one too early,”

These injuries mean that Alexis Sanchez will most certainly start upfront alongside Romelu Lukaku but now the fans are wondering that who might play as the third attacking man.

Many believe that the likes of Angel Gomes or Tahith Chong will play in attacking midfield but we believe that Solskjaer will not be ready to take such a big risk.

Fred will come into midfield alongside Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay while Andreas Periera who came on as a substitute vs Liverpool will be the Juan Mata role.

Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez will start upfront while Periera should be deployed in the hole right behind the two front men.
