This was perhaps one of the more entertaining Manchester Derby we had seen for quite some time but sadly this too has been marred by an alleged racist incident.
Man United won the Premier League encounter 2-1 but during the second half, a section of the Etihad crowd chose to get a bit hostile and threw objects towards midfielder Fred.
And if this was not enough to demean the stature of Manchester City, a video has immerged of a ban alleged showing monkey signs to the Brazilian.
This news has obviously taken centre stage after the Manchester Derby with a number of people coming out to slam the incident.
While many arguers want Man City to suffer a points deduction but according to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the Etihad outfit had no fault in this and instead, the accused should be handed a life ban from the stadium.
“Why don’t we educate him instead? It’s not City’s fault, it’s his. Nothing to do with Man City as a football club,” said the United boss[as reported].
“He’s been caught on camera and he should never be allowed into a football ground again, it’s unacceptable.

“We keep talking about it every week and it doesn’t stop unless it has consequences. It affected both him (Fred) and Jesse. Sometimes you feel sorry for these people. It’s an act of ignorance.”
Man City have also released an official statement claiming that the club are fully aware of the racism incident during the Manchester Derby and have vowed to take strict action and the person if he is found guilty.
“Manchester City FC are aware of a video circulating on social media which appears to show a supporter making racial gestures during the second half of the match against Manchester United this evening,” the statement read.
“Officials from the Club are working with Greater Manchester Police (GMP) in order to help them identify any individuals concerned and assist with their enquiries.
“The Club are also working with GMP regarding an instance of objects being thrown onto the field of play. The Club operates a zero-tolerance policy regarding discrimination of any kind, and anyone found guilty of racial abuse will be banned from the club for life.”
