Manchester United fans might just in time for some treat.
United travel to London in order to face Chelsea on Sunday and every United fan will understand that this is one match which is very difficult to win. The Red Devils have won just one out of their last 11 games at Stamford Bridge – the last one coming way back in 2012.
And this trip to has been marred by a series of midfield injuries for Jose Mourinho with the likes of Pogba and Fellaini major doubts to take the field. The Frenchman has missed the past 11 games with an injury while Fellaini is also against a race of time.
But finally, it looks like the United fans have some positive news. Two actually.
Firstly, Marouane Fellaini has travelled with the Manchester United squad on Saturday and could very well feature during Sunday’s match. The big Belgian has been the go-to man for Mourinho ever since Pogba has been injured. But Fellaini also picked up a knock a few weeks back and since then Mourinho has been trying really hard to fill up the void in the centre of the pitch.
But Fellaini travelling with the squad will certainly be a huge boost for Mourinho and United. The Belgian’s height and bullying strength will certainly be a key factor for breaking up the fluent flow of the Chelsea attack. Up until now, Mourinho has used Fellaini to do the dirty part of the job very well and in times of need he can also play as an extra striker.
The United doctors though will make a late assessment of the player on Sunday before they make their final decision.
