West Ham United spent a 100 million pounds during the summer transfer bringing in close to a dozen players.

But Manuel Pellegrini’s side are winless in their first four games of the new season.

The Hammers are currently last on the Premier League table and with games against the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United coming up after the international break the situation is not going to be any easier.

But amongst all these bad headlines the fans have finally received some positive news regarding Manuel Lanzini.

Lanzini suffered a ruptured anterior knee ligament during a training session with Argentina before the World Cup which ruled him out of the rest of the season.

Initial reports had suggested that the attacking midfielder will not take part in any action during the 2018-19 season for West Ham United but now the fans have been given some reason to rejoice.

Claret and Hugh who are a really positive source of West Ham news had claimed that Manuel Lanzini could very well return before the end of the season.

The website have claimed that Lanzini is recovering well and is expected to start light jogging before Christmas.

They wrote on their website“Given the terrible injury there were even doubts as to whether he would play again – now we are discussing whether he will be back before the end of the season!

“And given his amazing attitude and progress there is no doubt about that and if you were an optimist you might expect him to be back in action – firstly for the under 23s – early next year.

“There was a lot of ligament damage and that is mending but he is in the gym pumping iron and keeping himself fit.

Manu has a really great attitude and doing everything he is told and  there’s no reason at this point why he shouldn’t his target of playing again this season.”
