West Ham United have now suffered four defeats in their last five Premier League matches with the latest coming against Burnley FC.

The Hammers were hammered down away from home on Saturday with Burnley with the match 3-0 and pushing Manuel Pellegrini and his men down to 16th on the Premier League table.

This was without a doubt a really poor show from the London outfit and now multiple reports from England are claiming that Manuel Pellegrini might receive the sack during the international break.

The South American has done a pretty fine job ever since he was appointed the manager but both last as well as this, West Ham have gone through a rough patch.

Last season there were able to recover quite early but this time around it seems like the team is sinking deeper and deeper which has forced many to believe that Manuel Pellegrini might well and truly be on his way out.

But according to The Guardian, the Hammers management have full faith in their manager despite the recent slump in form.

The report states: “While Pellegrini is not in any immediate danger of being sacked, there is deep concern at West Ham with the team’s slump.

“The board is said to be in shock, even though there is faith in Pellegrini’s ability to lead a revival.

“That belief could be tested when West Ham face Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal and Wolves after the international break.”

West Ham United have picked up only 13 points from their first 12 matches in the Premier League and right the international break they take on the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Leicester City.

On paper, these are games do not look winnable for the Hammers meaning Manuel Pellegrini will have to use his experience in order to try and squeeze out something from these encounters.
