Jamie Carragher has chosen Marcus Rashford in his top 10 world draft picks ahead of Manchester United’s biggest transfer target Jadon Sancho.

Talking on Sky Sports, the pundit explained the only reason why chose to name Marcus Rashord ahead of his England teammate despite Sancho being in blistering for all throughout the current season.

‘I think Rashford I’ve seen him play more,’ said Carragher on Sky Sports, as reported by Metro.

‘I think Rashford is playing in one of the biggest clubs in the world, I think Dortmund are a level just below the real elite. They’re not liked a Bayern Munich, I’m talking about the pressure playing fr those clubs.

‘I think he’s the next one who’s going to get that big move to England whether it’s this summer or next summer.

‘I still think if the Euros were happening this summer and England were going there, I don’t think Jadon Sancho will probably get in the team, I think it’s probably more likely that Rashford would be in the team.

‘The thing about Rashford, I think this season we’ve finally said he’ll be that left-sided attacker. There’s talk about him being upfront but he’s found that role, he takes free-kicks, penalties, lightning-quick, gets goals.

‘I think over the next four or five years I think they could go on to be superstars for club and country.’

Like Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford has also been in tremendous form for Manchester United this season scoring 14 goals in just 22 Premier League games before he picked up a back injury.

The injury which at first looks small eventually ended up cutting his season short but now this lockdown has given him the perfect opportunity to regain his fitness without losing out on too much football.

And if Jadon Sancho does end up joining Man United, then it will be really exciting to see him and Marcus run down the wings at Old Trafford.
