Marko Arnautovic was the subject of a transfer interest from Premier League giants Manchester United after Jose Mourinho was spotted watching the forward play during an international game.

While these reports created a lot of buzz but nothing quite materialized and Marko Arnautovic ended up staying at West Ham.

But now the forward has claimed that he wishes to play against the best players which many believe is a hint that he wants to move out of the London Stadium.

“I’m 29, so that’s the best age,” Arnautovic told Austrian newspaper Kurier.

“It’s clear that I want to compete with the best players. But in this affair, I totally trust my brother.”

And this statement was further fueled by his brother who also happens to be his agent.

He brother has told Di Marzio that top Premier League clubs like Chelsea and Everton are keeping tabs on Marko Arnautovic and will make a move for the forward is West Ham decide to offload him.

“He is ready for the next step,” Marko Arnautovic’s brother told Gianluca Di Marzio.

“It’s not that he really wants to leave, but we believe this is the moment in his career when he has to take a step forward and try to win a few trophies, maybe even the Champions League

“There are a lot of Premier League clubs tracking him. Chelsea and Everton, for example, but not only them.”

Some reports still believe that Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is still interested in Marko Arnautovic and is eyeing him as a replacement for Romelu Lukaku – a player who has turned out to be a big flop ever since his high profile move.

West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini has made it clear that his club have no intentions of selling off Marko Arnautovic – not atleast during the January transfer window.
