Manchester United are in pursuit of Norwich City right-back Max Aarons but the youngster is proving to be one tough fish to catch.

Last season, it was Ashley Young who played at right-back for Man United and now that Antonio Valencia too has left the club, Solskjaer is badly in need of a new right-back.

The Red Devils are primarily targeting Crystal Palace full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka and he till date remains Ole’s first choice target.

While United were hoping to wrap up the transfer pretty quickly but Palace are not ready to budge from their demands.

And this has led some people to believe that the Old Trafford outfit might eventually pull out of the race to sign Bissaka in which case they want to bring on board, Max Aarons.

Max Aarons has come up through the ranks at Carrow Road and last season the 19-year-old featured in 41 Championship games for Norwich – assisting 6 and scoring 2 goals.

The youngster had a fine season as a result of which the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea have also been keeping tabs on the right-back and right now Man United are the only club who have shown any concrete interest.

United already have Diogo Dalot but the player is still adjusting to the Premier League and it feels as if Solskjaer still cannot fully trust him.

Max Aarons will most certainly be a fine addition to the squad and he will also come at a much cheaper price as compared to Bissaka.

However, there is one major issue.

Sports Mole are reporting that Norwich City are not too keen to let go of Max Aarons this summer especially since the right-back still has around 4 years left on his current deal.

As per Sports Mole, “Norwich will resist any attempts to prise Max Aarons away from Carrow Road this summer.

The right-back has been linked with Manchester United and Crystal Palace but the Canaries are determined to keep him, Press Association Sport understands.”

Norwich City might be putting up a brave face right now but if a club like Man United come calling we are pretty sure that Max Aarons will try and force his way out of Carrow Road.
