Pellegrini West Ham United Premier League

West Ham United are currently last on the Premier League table failing to win even a single point during their first four games.

And after this pathetic start to the new campaign, many believe that they will face a really tough task of securing a top half finish at the end of the season.

Manuel Pellegrini spent close to a £100million during the summer in bringing in 12 new players into the squad but his current right-back Pablo Zabaleta has revealed what the Chilean is missing at West Ham.

Zabaleta said: “For the first time maybe he doesn’t have the same quality in the team like he had before.

“So maybe it’ll take more time than at other clubs for him to get everything right.

“At Manchester City, there was so much quality, we won games easily. Here it’s not the same.

“But he’s a great man, a good manager and will try to find the best way to get the results.”

We cannot agree more with the Argentine International since Pellegrini had the luxury of Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko and Álvaro Negredo when he won the Premier League title with Manchester City a couple of years ago.

The Hammers are lacking that same quality in the attacking third and their only go to man Marko Arnautovic has failed so far scored only a single goal – that too from the penalty spot.

So the logic here is very simple, if West Ham need to climb back up the league table then they would have to score goals and a couple of players will have to come up and take responsibility – much like Marko Arnautovic did during the second half of the previous season.
