Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has hardly played this season due to various injury concerns but he is expected to return back to the first-team very quickly.

But this return might very well be short-lived since various rumours have claimed that the player is looking to head out of the club during the summer transfer window.

And according to Rio Ferdinand, it’s high time that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sits down with Paul Pogba and sort out the player’s future asap.

“I think that is a conversation that needs to be happening between Man Utd and Pogba,” Ferdinand told BT Sport, via The Mirror.

“Does he want to stay or go? Does Ole want to keep him? Once that’s ironed out you can build your team.”

Robbie Savage though feels Manchester United should try their level best to hold onto Paul Pogba since he along with the likes of Fernandes and Rashford can really help the club challenge for the title.

Savage said: “Keep Pogba – I would – let’s say you’ve got McTominay and Bruno Fernandes.

“Sancho, Rashford and then Grealish as a 10 or Jimenez from Wolves.

“If you name that team, Champions League football dependent, if I was a Man Utd owner I would think that team challenges for the title.”

Should Man United let Paul Pogba leave?

There have been various instances when the player, as well as his agent, has hinted that he wishes to head out of the club during the summer transfer window. And right now, there are rumours that Juventus want to resign him.

Up until now, Solskjaer has made it clear that the midfielder is very much a part of the club for the future but we think the manager is just saying this so that the market value of Paul Pogba does not drop.

Manchester United would surely want to recover the transfer amount they had spent on the player a couple of seasons ago meaning not many clubs can afford him. And maybe this is why the manager is trying desperately to keep things under wraps until the season comes to an end.
