Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has time and again indicated that he wants to move out of the club and right now Real Madrid seem to be his next destination.

Recently, his teammate Luke Shaw admitted that the Frenchman has all the ability to be the best midfielder in the world.

“Probably the hardest player to get the ball off is Paul. He’s so big, strong, he’s got quick feet. To be fair, he’s got everything to be the best midfielder in the world,” Shaw said to Manchester United’s official website, as reported.

“You could ask any player in the team about that. I’d have to pick Paul as the toughest one to train against as well because it’s so tough to get the ball off him — he knows how to shield it away and he’s also got the best quality to deliver shots and passes too.”

But everyone is certain it’s Real Madrid and not Manchester United who will be reaping the benefits of this talent next season.

Some experts are certain the player will look to head out as soon as the current season ends, but now according to Bayern Munich chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, the transfer market could see a massive turnaround due to the spread of the disease.

“I’m convinced there will be an impact in the next summer transfer window,” Rummenigge said on Wednesday, as reported by ESPN. “I’m listening to many colleagues in Spain, in Italy or in England. Everybody has to take care of their financial situation.

“I’m hearing that many clubs would like to give players on the market to sell and there are not so many clubs able to pay in cash or to fulfil the demand and requests of these clubs. I believe prices will go down and maybe salaries as well.”

Will Real Madrid drop interest in Paul Pogba?

This will be really bad news for Paul Pogba who is desperate to head out of Manchester United since not a lot of clubs across Europe can afford to sign the midfielder. But right now it’s Real Madrid who are said to be the frontrunners in signing the World Cup winner.

And so far, the Los Blancos have shown no financial impact of the lockdown.

Real Madrid have been deemed as a financially sound football club meaning they have the muscle to spend big during the upcoming transfer window.

And if Paul Pogba really wants to leave then, this financial strength is great news for not only the Frenchman but also Man United who would hate to lose their most prized asset in a cut-price deal.

Pogba has hardly played any matches this season due to his injury woes and on top of that if the club are forced to sell him off for cheap then it will most certainly be a massive blow for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his own transfer plans.
