Arsenal take on Leicester City in the Premier League on Monday and a win could take Unai Emery’s side into the top three of the League table.

After an initial hiccup, the Gunners have managed to steady their ship under their new boss and now the London outfit are looking more like title contenders.

When Unai Emery took charge of the club in the summer his primary job was to bring Arsenal back into the Champions League but the former PSG boss is doing much more than that.

But going into the game against Leicester City, the manager does have some serious injury concerns which might cause a few problems.

The first big miss would be that of their number one keeper Petr Cech who is out with a hamstring injury and is not expected to play any part during Monday’s Premier League game.

Petr Cech has been recovering well from his injury but he is yet to return to full training and reports suggest that the shot-stopper will take another fortnight to be completely fit.

“He is getting better from his injury but he’s not training with the group. I think he’s very close to start with us.”

Another player who will miss the game against Leicester City is centre-back Sokratis.

The summer signing from Borussia Dortmund is suffering from an ankle injury and is expected to go through a late fitness test on Monday in order to determine his availability.

While Unai Emery has refused to rule out the defender but Sokratis was not present with the first team during Sunday’s training session which is a clear hint that the 30-year-old might have to sit out Monday’s encounter.

Bernd Leno will be a straight replacement for Petr Cech infront of goal while Unai Emery should use the defensive partnership of Holding and Shkodran Mustafi once again after the pair put in a brilliant shift against Fulham.
