Man United have managed to score 16 goals during their past five games making Ole Solskjaer the first manager to win all of his first five games.

But his first defeat might very well be around the corner since the Red Devils will take on Spurs this weekend.

Spurs are currently third on the Premier League just six points behind leaders Liverpool and three points for them would mean Pochettino’s men can maintain the pressure on both Man City and Liverpool.

Spurs might be the first big test for Solskjaer’s Man United and defender Phil Jones feels that the club haven’t done anything special yet.

Here’s why:

“Spurs is a good test,” Phil Jones said as reported by the Independent.

“We are in good form and have some momentum going.

“They are in good form and doing well and we need to have a good week, train well and prepare for a tough game. Hopefully, the momentum can carry us on to win that match.

“We have steadied the ship a bit if you like and we need to keep going.

“We have not done anything yet, we have not achieved anything but we need to keep it going.”

“Of course we should be in the Champions League next season and that is the aim but we have done nothing yet and I know it is a cliche but it has to be game-by-game,

“I don’t really want to think about the top four, or the Champions League or the FA Cup, it has to be game-by-game. Tottenham is tough and we need to see where we are after that.”

After Spurs, Man United’s next big test will be vs Arsenal in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
