Rangers FC have made a handful of new signings this month but only two of those players have arrived this month.

Kilmarnock’s Jordan Jones and Dundee midfielder Glen Kamara are set to become free agents at their respective club at the end of the season.

And both of them have signed pre-contract with the Gers.

Both these players are expected to play key roles for Steven Gerrard next season but according to former Dundee man Lee Wilkie, Glen Kamara will not be a success at Ibrox.

“I have to admit not to having seen too much of him but I am surprised,” Wilkie wrote in his weekly column(as reported).

“He’s been great for the Dark Blues but I don’t think he’s good enough for Gers.”

Glen Kamara is an Arsenal graduate who joined Dundee in 2017 on a two-year deal and this season the defensive midfielder has played a key role at Dens Park.

The 23-year-old has played 18 games for Dundee this season providing three assists.

Dundee though are not keen on waiting until the end of the season and they are more than ready to send the player to Ibrox this month itself.

In order for that to happen, the Gers will have to splash out a transfer fee which they really do not need to do since the midfielder has already signed a pre-contract.

But some pundits feel that Steven Gerrard should pay the money and bring in Glen Kamara this month itself since it will help Rangers push for the Premiership title.
