PSG managed to overcome the Liverpool test on Wednesday as Thomas Tuchel’s men picked up all three points at home.
But the match was anything but a walk in the park for PSG as Liverpool made them sweat – especially in the second half.
Liverpool had the lion’s share of possession during the second half but they never managed to hurt Gigi Buffon.
And after the match, Liverpool manager chose to fire shots at PSG and their numerous time wasting opportunities during the final quarter of the game.
Klopp accused PSG of playing a clever game which eventually made the Reds looked like butchers.
But now PSG boss Thomas Tuchel has come out to defend his players by saying that Jurgen Klopp is just trying to divert the topic from the real issue – about how bad Liverpool really was on Wednesday.
“I did not feel like it was such a big issue. We had five minutes overtime, we suffered a lot of fouls,” he told a news conference, as reported by Goal.
“You don’t have to do fouls if you’re one goal down and you do 10 fouls in five minutes.
“You think it’s the other way around in a crucial match like that? I’ve never experienced it the other way around that the team goes to hurry that everyone has the chance to make an equaliser.

“I don’t even want to talk about it because for me it’s not a subject.
“When I lose big games I am angry and I sometimes talk about stuff just to bring the attention to something else and away from my team.
“I do this also but it’s not my issue. You’ll have to ask Jurgen for that and I heard he has his opinion to that and that’s fine. I’m talking about the game.”
Liverpool did manage to play poor football against PSG but the harsh reality was that PSG during the final 10 minutes of the match did everything to slow the game down and waste time.
