Manchester United picked up a 1-0 win over Young Boys in the Champions League this Tuesday and with that, they ensured their qualification to the knockout stages.

United started the game with extreme urgency and tried to close the game within the first 45 minutes itself.

But the fact of the matter was, the Red Devils were toothless and had to depend on Marouane Fellaini’s injury-time winner in order to pick up all three points.

The goal erupted frantic emotions from Fellaini running down towards the touchline to hug his manager to Jose Mourinho smashing water bottles.

Now though, the Man United fans are going ga-ga over one other player.

Luke Shaw is a player who has come full circle under Jose Mourinho. From being a virtual outlaw to a first team regular, the left-back has seen it all.

And he was the one who showed the maximum amount of urgency when one of the Young Boys’ player took too long to get off the pitch while being substituted.

Jean-Pierre Nsame was walking off the pitch when Luke Shaw went up to him and give him a bit of a helping hand by pushing him close to the dugout area.

The Young Boys player was obviously a bit upset with Luke Shaw’s behaviour but the Man United are loving it.

More so when the left-back posted this on social media:

And now the fans have been showering their love on the English international.

Last season Jose Mourinho has publicly bashed Luke Shaw on several occasions but this season, the left-back is one of the few players on whom Jose Mourinho has absolute faith.
