Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham United travel to St James’ Park and take on Newcastle United in an all-important Premier League clash.
Both teams are tied on 12 points and a loss for the Hammers would mean that they would have had picked up only five points from their past seven games.
West Ham United team news:
Fabianski will be in goal while the duo of Balbuena and Diop will be centre-back pairing for Manuel Pellegrini but the big concern for the manager will be the use of Pablo Zabaleta especially with such a busy festive time coming up.
The boss has already voiced his concerns over the ageing Zabaleta and he will try and take off the right-back at the very first opportunity he gets.
Jack Wilshere has returned to full fitness after an ankle injury but we do not expect to see him in the first eleven more so now that Mark Noble is available after suspension.
Noble will be part of three-man midfield which should consist of Obiang and youngster Declan Rice.
Summer signing Anderson will operate down the left-flank while Diangana is expected to work on the other flank.
Marko Arnautovic has trained the whole week after his hip injury last week meaning he will be available for selection. But in case he does not start the game then Manuel Pellegrini will go with Javier Hernandez as his first choice striker.
