The Gers have so far made four signings during the January transfer window out of which two are pre-contract agreements.

Rangers have signed Jordan Jones from Kilmarnock and Glen Kamara from Dundee and both of them are expected to arrive during the summer.

But recent reports had suggested that the Gers had been planning to bring in Glen Kamara this month itself.

Mark Allen though had made it clear a few days back that Kamara would be staying at Dundee until the end of the season and would only arrive at Ibrox during the summer.

But the scenario seems to have changed after Rangers’ loss to Kilmarnock during midweek.

Now fresh rumours are suggesting that Steven Gerrard has asked his management to try and bring Glen Kamara to Ibrox this month itself.

The Gers boss has come to the conclusion that he is in need of reinforcements in order to win the Premiership this season and the former Liverpool man feels Glen Kamara would be a perfect addition.

The defensive midfielder is an Arsenal youth academy product who joined Dundee in 2017.

This season, the 23-year-old has played in 18 games so far – providing three assists.

It is being reported that Dundee are not too keen to let Glen Kamara leave this month since the Finnish international is an integral part of the squad.

After the 2-1 defeat at the hands of Kilmarnock during midweek, Rangers now have yet another away game – this time they will travel to the Almondvale Stadium to face Livingston.
