Neymar Jr playing for Brazil

Real Madrid’s Florentino Perez is making plans to launch a bid for PSG’s Neymar – or so it seems.

According to various reports floating around in the European news circuit, the Los Blancos are interested in making a move for the Brazilian sensation.

And reporter Duncan Castle believes that Real Madrid are pretty serious about signing Neymar.

“Madrid, I’m told, are extremely serious about making this happen at the end of the season,” he said.

“They’re prepared to put down the money required in terms of the transfer fee – which will obviously be substantial for a player who cost €222m just to activate the release clause from Barcelona less than two years ago.

“And wages, he’s on €30m net basic at Paris and I would expect an increase on that.”

Neymar joined PSG from Barcelona in 2017 and since then he has gone onto the become one of the most celebrated players in the Ligue 1(to be honest that league does not have many).

But last summer there were some rumours that the Brazilian is not happy with life in Paris and wants to head back to Spain.

Well, Barcelona will not be willing to take him back, so the only other club big enough to support Neymar’s ego are Real Madrid.

Sergio Ramos though is not a big fan of Neymar and the defender does not want the 27-year-old to join the Bernabeu outfit.

Ramos – as per reports would be much happier to see someone like Harry Kane or even Kylian Mbappe move to Madrid.

While Mbpappe has shown no signs of leaving PSG but the rumours of Harry Kane moving out of Spurs has been doing the rounds for some time now.

Real Madrid have previously shown interest in the England captain and there is every possibility that they might launch a bid for him at the end of the season(especially if Pochettino heads to Manchester United).

Neymar is currently recovering from a foot injury and reports suggest that he will be back sometime in April.

So far Neymar has scored 20 goals in just 23 games for PSG but given the competition in the French League, even David Luiz for once looked a world class defender.
