Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere announced on Tuesday that he is set to leave the club after being associated with the outfit for 17 long years.

The English International joined the club as a youngster in 2001 but he has never been able to fulfil his ample potential at the top level with constant injuries hampering his progress.

And now with Jack Wilshere’s contract set to expire at the end of the month, the midfielder has decided to move out of the Emirates after he was told by new boss Unai Emery that he is not guaranteed a major role in the first team setup.

Arsenal had offered Wilshere with a new deal and the player had also agreed to take a pay cut in order to stay at the Emirates but Emery’s lack of faith in the player is what made him choose the option of moving out.

Now that Jack Wilshere has chosen to sever his ties with Arsenal the next big debate is which club he will move to next.

While the names of a number of clubs have popped up ever since Wilshere announced his decision but it seems like one of his former teammates is trying to lure him to Spain.

Santi Cazorla who left Arsenal in order to join former club Villareal after his contract came to an end of the 2017-18 season has asked Jack Wilshere to join him at Villareal.

Cazorla took to Instagram and advised Jack Wilshere about his next move.

Cazorla wrote: “Super come with me please, I wish you all the best you are great player and top man.”

After playing regularly during the 2017-18 season many people thought that Jack Wilshere’s career was coming back on track and the club were confident that the midfielder would sign a new deal. But it seems that Unai Emery did not see the 26-year-old as a bankable asset.
