Manchester United are expected to make a series of new signings during the summer transfer window and Jose Mourinho has already set the ball rolling by 19-year-old full-back Diogo Dalot from FC Porto.
But with the arrival of new players, a lot of the existing players are all presumed to be heading for the exit doors at Old Trafford.
And Manchester United are expected to make their first sale of the summer transfer window by the end of this week.
According to the latest reports, the Old Trafford outfit are set to offload right-back Matteo Darmian.
Darmian joined Manchester United in 2015 from Torino after getting regular first-team starts during his first two seasons, he fell down the pecking order in the previous campaign.
During the 2017-18 season, Matteo Darmian played only 8 games in the Premier League and now the Italian is scheduled to head back to his homeland.
Italian publication TuttoSport are of the view that Juventus are keen on signing the full-back and deal is essentially wrapped up.
Almost 95% of the deal has been agreed upon and on Wednesday the representatives of Juventus and Manchester United are scheduled to meet in order to discuss the final steps of the transfer.
And if everything goes according to plan then Juventus might announce the release of Matteo Darmian within the next 24 hours.
