Chelsea will take on Arsenal in the Europa League final later this month and the final will be played at the Baku Olympic Stadium in Azerbaijan.

This final has already gotten a lot of attention and faced a lot of criticism from the football fans due to the selection of venue and the allocation of tickets to both the clubs.

While many believe that Chelsea will be going into this match as the favourites but according to Maurizio Sarri that might not be the case.

The Chelsea boss has claimed that Arsenal are more motivated going into this Europa League final.

‘It’s a risk of course,’ Sarri said.

‘On the other hand, we have to consider the pressure. At the moment we risk having less motivation than our opponents.

‘But they might have more pressure than us. There is a positive and negative side to both.

‘We didn’t want to play this final for the Champions League, as I said a few months ago we wanted the Champions League through the Premier League, now we want to play for a trophy.’

Chelsea have qualified for the Champions League next season so theoretically they have been relieved from a lot of pressure. Having said that though, they still will give it there all in order to pick up a silverware in an otherwise poor season.

Arsenal, on the other hand, will need to win this match or else they would be playing in the Europa League once again next season.

And if that happens, Unai Emery will get a very meagre transfer budget during this summer which will surely halt Arsenal’s progress for the 2019-20 campaign.
