Premier League side Manchester United have been strongly linked with a move for Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos but it seems like the club are yet to make any contact.

Ramos has been the central figure in the Real Madrid backline for years now but his current deal with the club expires in the summer and it seems like he’s not too keen to stay at the Bernabeu any more.

As per the reports in Spain, Sergio Ramos has turned down two offers to sign a new deal and there’s a big chance that he will leave the club as a free agent in the summer.

Some rumours had claimed that Man United have already made a move to sign the centre-back at the end of the season but according to Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League side are still undecided.

He wrote on Twitter: “Also, Manchester United have not contacted Sergio Ramos agent as of today – they’ll decide for the real target as centre-back in the coming months.

“PSG are interested [only if Sergio will leave the club as free agent, no decision yet – situation still open with Real].”

Sergio Ramos isn’t the only defender being linked with Man United as Ole is also said to be keeping tabs on players like Dayot Upamecano and his Leipzig teammate Ibrahima Konate.

The 34-year-old will be a fine addition to the Man United squad next season and the experience of the Spaniard could be a key factor in helping Solskjaer’s side challenge concretely for the Premier League title.

Ramos has not made any final call over his future at Real Madrid but by the looks of it, the defender is going to head for greener pastures at the end of the 2020/21 season.
