Henrikh Mkhitaryan is currently out on loan to Serie A side AS Roma after he failed to impress his then manager, Unai Emery at Arsenal.
The Armenian had moved to Arsenal in a swap deal from Manchester United but recently he had claimed that Unai Emery broke a lot of promises which is why he chose to head to Italy during the summer transfer window.
“I knew I would be more appreciated by Roma than by Arsenal at the time,” Mkhitaryan had claimed.
“At the beginning of the season they made promises to me, but after two or three weeks everything was different. They treated me differently.”
Almost every Arsenal fan seems to have forgotten about Henrikh Mkhitaryan and it was more or less certain that the 31-year-old would be sold off permanently at the end of the season.
Now though with Mikel Arteta at the helm, things seem to have changed with the new manager claiming that Hnrikh Mkhitaryan could still have a future at the club.

“He is the kind of player who can fit in any team when he is at his best, he needs to do it consistently and that’s what we need to assess.
“It’s a possibility that we have and will consider.”
Will Henrikh Mkhitaryan remain at Arsenal?
This season, Henrikh Mkhitaryan has scored 6 goals and provided 3 assists in 13 Serie A games for Roma and he has managed to find back some of his form.
And if Arsenal fail to qualify for the Champions League which we feel they are going to then Mikel Arteta will find it really tough to bring in world-class players which could come even more handy for Mkhitaryan.
With a strained budget and playing possibly in the Europa League, Arsenal will find it really hard to get their first-choice transfer target which is why there’s a massive possibility that the former Man United man is recalled back by Mikel Arteta and given a fresh lease of life at the Emirates.
