Rangers FC appointed Steven Gerrard as their new manager after the 2017-18 season and the former Liverpool midfielder now has the job of rebuilding the Gers side for the upcoming season.
So far, the manager has done a pretty decent job by bringing in as many as six new players within such a short span of time and reports suggest that a few more are on their way.
But with so many players coming into the squad a few existing players are also expected to leave during the summer transfer window.
And if reports are to be believed then Mexican forward Eduardo Herrera could be one of them.
Herrera joined Rangers in June of 2017 under the then manager Pedro Caixinha regime for a fee of £1.5 million. And since then the 29-year-old has little to make his mark on the first team.
Eduardo Herrera has played 21 games in all competitions for the Light Blues and has managed to score only two goals.
The report suggests Steven Gerrard has come to the conclusion that Herrera is no longer an asset to the team and the manager is now ready to listen to incoming offers for the forward.
It does not look like Rangers are going out of their way to offload Eduardo Herrera meaning if a bid does not come in by the end of the season then the 29-year-old might just end up staying at Ibrox for one more season.
