Rangers FC are currently associated with a series of players as reports claim that Steven Gerrard is still looking to make a couple of more signing before Rangers kick off their domestic campaign.

In recent weeks the Gers have been linked with Hibernian midfielder Dylan McGeouch and it was being believed that Gerrard’s side were the only club interested in him.

Now though, things have taken a swift turn.

According to Sky Sports, Sunderland have taken an interest in midfielder Dylan McGeouch.

The Hibs midfielder’s contract is set to expire at the end of this month and Sunderland manager Jack Ross is planning to make a move for McGeouch by the end of this week.

It is also being reported that the 25-year-old has met with the representatives of Sunderland.

The Black Cats are not the only club who are looking to grab hold of the midfielder as Championship side Derby Country are also in the hunt.

So it is pretty clear that Rangers will have to work hard if they wish to bring the midfielder to Ibrox in the coming weeks.

But having said that, the job shouldn’t be a tough one given the fact that Dylan McGeouch spent three years(2008-2011) at the Rangers youth academy.
