AC Milan winger Suso had a really inconsistent campaign last time around and if reports are to be believed then the Rossoneri are planning to offload him during the summer.

Suso played 41 games across all competitions for Milan last season scoring 8 goals and providing 9 assists. But towards the end of the season, his form took a nosedive.

Now that AC Milan have failed to qualify for the Champions League, Suso has been deemed as surplus at the club.

Also, the Serie A side will have to sell off some of their big names in order to balance their books so that they do not get caught in the FFP breach and the winger will surely be able to fetch a very hefty transfer fee.

But perhaps the biggest reason to sell Suso off is the fact that Marco Giampaolo is expected to be announced as the new boss of Milan.

Giampaolo’s preferred system is 4-3-1-2 which does not have a place for wingers. And given that Suso plays out on the right wing, it would be more sensible for Milan if they cashed him on him before they announce their new boss.

Arsenal and Spurs are both said to be interested in signing Suso but they might face stiff competition from Atletico Madrid.

As per reports, Suso currently has a release clause of €40 million and as of now, all the clubs are more than happy to trigger it.

Having said that though, Arsenal and Spurs’ moves will depend on how many players they are able to sell off during the summer.

Both the North London clubs are operating on a shoestring budget this transfer window so they will have to sell off a number of their current players if they wish to get their hands on Suso.

But some experts have claimed that Suso is the kind of player who should not be the priority for the Premier League outfits and they should use that money on strengthening other aspects of their squad.
