Real Madrid are a club in turmoil and recent reports suggest that the management are planning to sack Julen Lopetegui.

The Los Blancos named the Spanish coach as their new manager just before the 201 World Cup following which the 52-year-old was sacked from his job from the national team.

But his time at the Bernabeu has not been too pleasant either as the manager has failed to replicate the form that Real Madrid had during the time of Zinedine Zidane.

And now reports are suggesting that Real Madrid are planning to show Julen Lopetegui the door.

According to Sky Sports, the La Liga outfit have made contact with former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and are planning to bring the Italian as a replacement to Julen Lopetegui.

Antonio Conte moved to Chelsea two seasons ago from Italy and he was an instant hit with the Stamford Bridge outfit.

But his second season was utter chaos as the Blues failed to qualify for the Champions League this campaign.

And after much turmoil, the Blues finally managed to sack the Italian and bring in Maurizio Sarri as a replacement.

And ever since that day, Antonio Conte has been without a job.

As per the report, the Los Blancos have made contact with Antonio Conte’s representatives but this is not the first time that Real Madrid have pursued the Italian.

Reports suggest that the La Liga outfit wanted Antonio Conte during the summer but the Chelsea boss refused the offer because he wanted a break from football.

Now that Julen Lopetegui is on the verge of being sacked as the Real Madrid boss, Antonio Conte has himself shown interest in moving to the Bernabeu.

While Julen Lopetegui might very be sacked in the coming few weeks but the club’s management has made it clear that the Spaniard will remain in charge of the club for the upcoming El Clasico.
