West Ham United welcome Arsenal at the London Stadium this weekend and Manuel Pellegrini will be looking to pick up all three points.

The Hammers are banking on the fact that the Hammers will start the game with a makeshift defensive lineup or with defenders who are just returning back from injuries.

But winning the game will be easier said than done since Manuel Pellegrini might very well have a striker crisis.

Pellegrini has an array of attackers who are out with injuries but right now his biggest concerns will be with Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez.

Arnautovic is currently recovering from back pain and some rumours claim that the player might not be fit to start vs Arsenal.

Theoretically, the player should be fit before the weekend but reports have it that the forward will have to go through a late fitness test.

Javier Hernandez is also out with a back injury and initial reports had suggested that the Mexican would require atleast 10 days in order to return to full fitness.

He like Arnautovic will be tough and go which is the real worry for Manuel Pellegrini.

If both Arnautovic and Hernandez are unavailable for selection then the West Ham manager will have no other option but to start with Andy Carroll up front which in all honesty is something which the manager would not want to do.

West Ham are currently 10th on the Premier League table and a win for them would take them above Wolves who play their next match against Man City on Tuesday.
