Liverpool are ready to sell Divock Origi for the right price this summer and according to Football Insider, West Ham United have just held talks to sign the centre-forward.

The report claims: “West Ham have opened preliminary talks to sign Liverpool striker Divock Origi, Football Insider understands.

A recruitment source has told Football Insider that West Ham head the clubs working on a cut-price raid for Origi.

“The forward’s valuation has plummeted even though he signed a long-term contract in the summer of 2019 on the back of his Champions League heroics.”

Divock Origi on his way to West Ham United?

If this news is true then it’s a big blow for Wolves who are planning a revamp of their first-team squad and according to Journalist Ekrem Konur, they had just made their first offer for Origi.

He wrote: “Wolverhampton have made a £10m bid for Divock Origi to Liverpool. Liverpool are demanding £20m.”

The Hammers are looking to add volume to their attacking departments which is why they have stepped up their pursuit for the Liverpool misfit. And despite his lack of playing time previous season, Origi will be a fine addition to Moyes’ squad.

Not only are Wolves shy of Liverpool’s initial demands but West Ham United can also offer him European football next season.

At the start of the new year, Liverpool were refusing to lower their price tag but since Divock Origi is still unsold, the Anfield outfit are ready to soften their tone.

As per the latest reports, Liverpool are now willing to accept £15 million for the forward and this revised price suits both West Ham United and Wolves.

The 26-year-old forward will be itching to play regular football next season so whichever club can offer him that, Origi should be heading there.
