West Ham United striker Andy Carroll will miss the start of the 2018-19 Premier League season after suffering a recurrence of an ankle problem.
The club have suggested that the 29-year-old striker will be out of action for three long months and now the London outfit are planning to offload him before the start of the new season.
Reports in Turkey suggest that West Ham have offered Andy Carroll to Besiktas.

Andy Carroll joined West Ham United on loan from Liverpool in 2012 scoring goals in 24 matches and he was immediately brought on board by the club next summer for a transfer fee of around £15 million.
And since his move to the London Stadium, the English International has been a regular figure in the first team. But the 2017-18 season was a big drop for Andy Carroll in terms of performance as the striker managed to score just three goals in the 18 appearances that he made. So it is no wonder that Manuel Pellegrini is using the striker’s injury to push him out of the club.
As per the report, even though the Hammers have offered Andy Carroll’s services to Besiktas, the Turkish outfit is yet to make a decision.
While the management are interested in bringing Carroll onboard but they are waiting on the call from their manager Senol Gunes.
If Gunes gives the thumbs up to the deal, then Besiktas will go ahead and make official contact with West Ham United.
