Arsenal brought in Dani Ceballos on loan from Real Madrid this summer and the midfielder made his first home start his Gunners career.

Dani Ceballos did come off the bench during Arsenal’s win over Newcastle but it was vs Burnley that he showed what he’s really capable off with a Man of the Match performance.

And speaking after the game, the midfielder revealed what he actually plans to prove in the English Premier League with Arsenal.

“I really want this year to truly demonstrate the football that I have inside,” he told the club’s official website(as reported).

“I have a lot of enthusiasm for this season and to be able to give a lot of joy to this club. The confidence they have in me, I want to return it to them with my performances.

“I think it will be hard for me to forget this day. The most important thing in football is to win.”

“When you have a great game and can help the team to get the victory, you feel satisfaction to know that you’re going home calmly and with the work done.

“The truth is that for me it has been one of the most special days of my life. I think that by starting at home with a win, and with this passion shown at the end of the match, I think it will be hard for me to forget this day.”

And talking after the match, Unai Emery was all praises for Dani Ceballos hinting that the loanee is set to be the mainstay in the Arsenal midfield for the whole of the season.

The manager said: “With him, it’s for us to use his qualities in the best position in our team with our ideas. I spoke with him – before coming here – to play like an eight and a 10.

“Today he started like a 10, but a lot of times he was changing with Willock into the eight position, where he can feel better on the pitch.”
