Unai Emery is under heavy fire at Arsenal as the Gunners have won just four games in the Premier League so far and he sacking might very well be round the corner.

The Gunners have not a league match in their last five outings and right now there are multiple rumours which claim the board do not want Unai Emery at the helm any more.

While the board does not want Emery to continue but the Spaniard is still at the club and that is because the club’s head of football still has full faith on him.

But with the 2-2 draw vs Southampton, fans are now waiting for the time as to when the current boss will be sacked and someone else will come in to replace.

And writing for The Mirror, Stan Collymore has hinted that the next few games will be very crucial for the manager since if Arsenal fail to win each of these matches then surely the Spanish manager will have to find a new job.

“In recent days Emery’s communication has been mocked, and that has been casual xenophobia with people taking the p*** out of his dialect and pronunciation,” Collymore wrote.

“People are saying to Arsenal fans that this guy is a parody, a comic, a cartoon. When that sets in he has lost it. There is no way he can turn it back.

“The answer is in the next two or three weeks, they will get a draw somewhere and the board will pull the trigger.”

Collymore also wrote in his column that appointing Unai Emery as a replacement for Arsene Wenger was a blunder in itself since the club’s management needed to try and bring in Diego Simeone in order to build a new dynasty.

“Arsenal needed revolution after Arsene Wenger left,” Collymore added.

“They needed someone to be bold, brave, rid the walls of the stench of average, and to take a hammer to the place.

“Instead they got Unai Emery who is struggling to stop Arsenal being a Barcelona-light parody act from 2009.

“The Arsenal board should now be testing Diego Simeone’s ambition and offering him the chance to test himself against Klopp, Mourinho and Pep. It is always tough for a manager succeeding a dynasty like Wenger. It could even be two or three bosses down the line who succeeds.”
