Pellegrini West Ham United Premier League

It looks like West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini is already preparing his wishlist for the summer transfer window.

After spending a couple of weeks in the relegation zone it is more or less certain that the Hammers will remain in the top flight next season so it is time for the manager to make some plans.

And in a bid to do so, the London outfit sent out scouts to watch Portuguese side Belenenses play Maritimo.

Reports suggest that apart from West Ham United other clubs like Hoffenheim and Real Valladolid also had scouts present in that game.

But what no one can really figure out as to who they were actually scouting.

Belenenses failed to pick up a win during this game though losing to a 71st-minute strike from Barrera.

And to be very honest, the West Ham scouts will not able to take too many positives out of this game from the home side.

But what this move from the Premier League side goes on to show is the fact that Pellegrini has chosen to cut down on his expenses this summer after bringing in big players last year.

By the looks of it, the London outfit are planning to make budget signings at the end of the season in the hopes of unearthing a gem.
