Liverpool take on Crystal Palace this weekend in the Premier League and Wilfried Zaha could be an absentee for this clash – as per reports.

Wilfried Zaha has been the standout player for Palace this season having featured in each and every game for the Eagles in the Premier League.

While his assists and goals column might be a bit empty but the player has clearly caused a lot of trouble to opponents in the final third.

But as per reports, the 27-year-old picked up a knock in the foot during Palace’s last game vs Chelsea and right now he is a major doubt for the game vs Liverpool.

The injury though is not too serious and Zaha should be fully fit before Saturday but we believe the Eagles boss will not risk him during this match.

Palace just like any other Premier League side have a very busy winter schedule meaning Roy Hodgson risking Wilfried Zaha against a team like Liverpool is not worth it.

After this Liverpool game, Palace have matches against teams which are very much beatable and it is much more important that Zaha gets to start in those games instead of this weekend.

Liverpool are the odds out favourite to win this encounter and that will happen with or without Wilfried Zaha in the first XI for the Eagles.
