Manchester United take on Newcastle United and the Red Devils will be looking to keep their winning run going under their new manager.

Ever since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge of the club, Man United have managed to score 12 goals in just three games – picking up comfortable wins in each of their games.

The likes of Martial, Rashford and Pogba have done really well in attack but with Alexis Sanchez recovering from his hamstring injury, fans are waiting to see when will the Chilean return.

Alexis Sanchez was scheduled to play vs AFC Bournemouth during the weekend but the manager chose to leave him out of the squad.

And now Solskjaer has revealed whether Alexis Sanchez will play vs the Magpies.

Alexis has had some great training sessions over the last few days and wanted to be here [against Bournemouth] as well but we’ve had to manage him.” Solskjaer said.

“He’s been out for a month. He will be involved [at Newcastle], yes.

”He wants to play all the time, he’s one of those characters. He made himself available but I think it was a few days too early for him.

“He’s not had enough fitness work but he is champing at the bit.

“I think Alexis is a player that would benefit from the interchanging, rotation and movements and, of course, more chances. If we create more chances and get the ball in the final third, he will be an asset for us.

“On the floor, in between or in behind, I think he’s looking forward to it. Certainly, it’s looked like it in the session the other day when he scored quite a few nice goals and that was encouraging.”

If Alexis Sanchez does play vs Newcastle United then the Anthony Martial could be handed a new role given both these players like to operate down the right flank.

The addition of Alexis Sanchez could also mean that Jesse Lingard could drop down to the bench.
