Daniel James has been one of the better players for Man United during the 2019-20 season but the players might be a doubt for the Man United vs Liverpool clash next weekend.

James was brought in during the summer and during the first few games, the Welsh international has managed to cement his place in the first XI for the Red Devils.

But the winger was on the receiving end of a nasty tackle while playing for Wales on international duty and now there are doubts about his participation in the clash vs Liverpool.

Daniel James was clattered by Vida on the head and immediately the youngster fell on the ground and looked unconscious. Immediately everyone knew that it was a nasty injury and the doctors rushed onto the pitch.

It was more or less certain that Daniel James would be taken off but the medical staff took the call to keep him on the pitch.

And this has led many people to believe that the winger would not feature for the Man United vs Liverpool game due to a precaution.

But thankfully, Ryan Giggs has brushed off any serious injury concerns regarding Daniel James as he went on to label the whole situation as ‘acting’.

The Wales boss said(as reported): “Dan James went down and stayed down with a bit of acting really, but the medical staff went over and he was compos mentis,

“Then at half-time, we did all the (concussion) tests and he was fine. He stayed down and was a bit streetwise. He told the doctors ‘I’m not moving, I’m just sitting still’.

“Not to get anyone sent off, he was just using his nous.”

And now even the winger has come out to clear the air about the whole situation saying that he did receive a blow on the head but wasn’t knocked out.

“There was a few tackles flying in but you always expect it in these games,” he said.

“I’m fine. I think he just caught me in the head but I didn’t get knocked out, fortunately.”

This means Daniel James is fit enough to start the Man United vs Liverpool clash next weekend and this will indeed be great news for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer since the manager is already dealing with a number of injury concerns.
