Manchester United are in hot pursuit of Tottenham forward Harry Kane despite the Lilywhites making it clear that the player is not for sale.

Recently, Kane had hinted that he could be on his way out of the club if Spurs failed to win trophies and this immediately set tongues wagging.

But the North London club were quick to point out that Harry Kane will not be sold during the upcoming transfer window.

Despite this, many pundits claim Man United have a very good chance of landing the England international and according to Stan Collymore, the Red Devils should use Jadon Sancho to lure him in.

“I can honestly see Kane going to Real ahead of United in the same way we saw Gareth Bale move to the Bernabeu seven years ago,” the former England international wrote in The Mirror., via the Standard

“The only hope Ole Gunnar Solskjaer really has of selling Old Trafford as a primary destination for Kane is if he tells him: ‘We’re not just going to bring you in, Harry, we’re going to bring in Jadon Sancho as well to supply you and maybe a couple of other players on top of him’.

“If Sancho didn’t materialise then I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Kane taking the No.9 shirt from Karim Benzema at Real Madrid, with the Frenchman then heading to the Premier League.”

Will Harry Kane join Man United because of Sancho?

If the words of Harry Kane are to be believed then the player wants to win trophies and if Man United can manage to secure the signing of Jadon Sancho then surely they will fall in that bracket.

Right now, Man United are fighting for a Champions League spot but over the past two transfer windows, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made a number of top signings, including that of Bruno Fernandes in January.

And if the club can manage to get their hands on players like Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish then surely they will have a shot at winning the Premier League title.

Harry Kane has been the top scorer in the league for a number of seasons but that is the only trophy he has managed to win during his time at Spurs. So it will be very essential for Daniel Levy to convince his star man that the club are actually heading in the right direction under their new boss Jose Mourinho.

But all said and done, we feel, this whole transfer will depend on whether Spurs can keep their Champions League status or not.
