On Sunday Man United visit Elland Road to take on Leeds United and Ralf Rangnick might have a tough job on his hands, despite United’s good form against their local rivals.

Ole might have had an average stint with Manchester United but he surely knew how to thrash Leeds United. Under Ole, United easily outclassed Leeds at every given opportunity but that might not be the case on Sunday.

According to pundit Michael Owen, while Bielsa is under immense pressure to get things right, the manager’s pro-attacking brand of football could prove to be a stumbling block for the visitors.

He wrote for BetVictor: “The pressure is mounting on Marcelo Bielsa. It’s been a difficult season for them, and they were poor against Everton last week. I’m expecting a response here and the atmosphere for this should be brilliant. That will help the energy levels of the players on the pitch.

“United played well in spells in the win over Brighton. They’ve been creating chances in recent weeks, but they just haven’t been taking them. They’re back in the top four though and can still finish the season strongly,

“This should be a thriller; I’d expect goals here. I think Leeds will take the game to United and we’ll see goals at both ends. I’m going for a 2-2 draw at Elland Road.”

Man United are really struggling to score goals at the moment so a game against Leeds United could not have come at a worse possible time for Ralf Rangnick.

United have scored only six goals in their previous five outings, two of them coming against a ten-man Burnley side. Leeds United are in even poorer form but they have scored seven goals in their previous five league matches.

Bielsa’s side has the knack of scoring goals in bursts so if they can manage to find a way to get past Man United’s defence then it will be curtains for the Old Trafford outfit. The only way for Manchester United to get out of such an undesirable situation is for their forwards to covert their chances and put the game to bed by scoring at least two or three goals.
