Liverpool take on Everton in the Merseyside Derby this Sunday and Jurgen Klopp is expected to make a few changes to his starting line-up from the game against PSG.

Liverpool lost their Champions League game against PSG this midweek and the Reds will be eager to get back to winning ways against the Toffees.

Jurgen Klopp is expected to make a few changes to his starting line-up and most of them will be in and around the midfield area.

While most of us are still guessing as to what will be the perfect XI for the Liverpool boss but the German during his press conference has made it clear that one player will surely start on Sunday.

And that player is Xherdan Shaqiri.

Shaqiri signed for Liverpool from Stoke City during the summer transfer window and the Swiss has settled in perfectly at Anfield.

He came on as a sub during the 2-1 loss to PSG on Wednesday but is sure to start against Everton as the manager is possibly going to change his team’s formation.

Talking about the chances of Xherdan Shaqiri playing against Everton, Jurgen Klopp said:

“That’s something you do always when the new boys are in they are so much better than all the others.

“I don’t get the word ‘relish’ actually, but yes I think he will enjoy it a lot and he will be ready for it as well. We have to see how we play and which line up we will choose.”

If Xherdan Shaqiri starts on Sunday the surely Mo Salah will be playing as the frontman with Roberto Firmino playing just behind him in the hole.

The midfield will also see a reshuffle with Fabinho possibly coming in for James Milner.
