Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri might very well be on his way out of the club by the end of the month.
According to the latest reports, the Blues management have given the Italian 21 days to sort things out or else he will be shown the door.
February will surely be a testing time for Sarri and if he fails, then the club are planning to bring in former Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane.
The Frenchman has been without a job ever since he left the Los Blancos and for a brief period of time, he was linked with a job at Manchester United.
Now though it seems that Chelsea are the favourites to land him – in case they sack Maurizio Sarri.
Some reports have claimed that the Stamford Bridge outfit have already made contact with Zinedine Zidane and the manager has laid down three conditions which if fulfilled will prompt him to move to London.
The first condition from the Frenchman is that the Blues tie down Eden Hazard to a new long term deal and then build a team around him.
Hazard has claimed that he has already made a decision about his future and many believe that the Belgian is heading to Real Madrid during the summer.
But if Zinedine Zidane is really serious about taking a job at Chelsea then the Blues can surely use this news as bait to tie Eden Hazard down.
The second condition is that Zinedine Zidane reportedly wants £200million in his transfer kitty during the summer transfer window while the third condition is that the Frenchman wants the authority to make decisions alongside director Marina Granovskaia.
All these conditions – if they are true, seem to be quite fair and if Chelsea’s situation does not improve by the end of the season, then surely Roman Abramovich will have no other option but to cave in and accept Zinedine Zidane’s demands.
