Man United are pulling all the stops to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund and it looks like Ed Woodward is ready to make the youngster one of the highest-paid footballers, should he join the Premier League.

A Daily Mail report claims: “It has been reported that the 20-year-old winger is set to pocket a huge £340,000-a-week deal if he signs on the dotted line for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.

“The former Manchester City youngster is set to earn a £150,000-a-week pay rise if the deal goes through.

“He would become United’s second-highest-paid player behind David de Gea and the third top earner in the Premier League. Not bad for a 20-year-old.”

Manchester United are pretty confident that they will be able to land this deal but according to Paul Scholes, his former side should focus on signing someone like Harry Kane instead of Jadon Sancho.

“Don’t get me wrong, Sancho is a top-quality footballer,” the former midfielder said, via Daily Star.

“I just think we already have three forwards or wide men that are very similar to Sancho.

“I think I would be more desperate to sign Harry Kane than Sancho at this stage.

“I just think United need a centre forward, a real No9, a real goalscorer, and Kane would be that man for me.”

Harry Kane is also another player who has been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer and even Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will love to bring the centre-forward on board.

But we do not think Daniel Levy will let his most prized possession leave so easily.

The North London side have already made it clear that Harry Kane is not up for sale and as per some rumours, the Lilywhites will demand somewhere around £200million in order to let their captain leave the club.

So, even though the Man United boss would want to sign the forward but this particular transfer seems next to impossible which is why the OT outfit are focusing on something that is achievable.
