Marko Arnautovic has been causing real troubles at West Ham United and finally, it looks the player is about to leave the London Stadium.
It is being reported the Hammers have finally decided to sell off the player and he is on his way to China in the coming few weeks.
Footmercato reported: “Last winter, Marlo Arnautovic was close to a departure from West Ham. Courted by the Shanghai SIPG, the Austrian had finally stayed in London.
“The Hammers had even signed an extension of contract last January. A few months later, a departure is again possible.
According to our information, Shanghai SIPG has accelerated these last hours to offer Marko Arnautovic, who requested his transfer a few days ago.
“The player agrees with the Chinese team who offers him a three-year contract.
“There are only a few details left to settle with West Ham, which should receive 40 million euros, we were told.”
While most of the fans should be happy with the fact that Marko Arnautovic is being offloaded but they are certainly not happy with the details of the transfer.
As per the reports, West Ham United are set to receive around 40 million euros from the sale of the forward and this is something the Hammers fans cannot seem to digest. The previous clubs which have been linked with him have reportedly been ready to pay upwards of 60 million euros and now West Ham have suddenly chosen to sell him for just 40 million euros.
