Tammy Abraham to Arsenal England

Arsenal will try and make a move for Alvaro Morata should they fail to bring Tammy Abraham back to England, according to Tuttosport.

The Gunners have been keeping tabs on Tammy Abraham after his impressive season with Roma and they have a glimmer of hope in trying to sign him after Jose Mourinho admitted that he is ready to let the forward return to the Premier League.

Mourinho had recently said: “In this moment, if he wants to go back to England – I don’t think he wants to now – but if he wants to go back to England, he just needs to click his fingers.”

Tammy has always wanted to remain close to Southgate’s eyes so that his England call-up gets more straightforward and this is why Arsenal are confident they will be able to land him. But as per some fresh rumours, the 24-year-old does not want to return to England as he is more than happy with life in Rome.

Obviously, Tammy Abraham is not the only striker that Arsenal are looking at and as per the report, they might try and sign Alvaro Morata if they fail to get their hands on the Roma man.

Will Atletico allow Alvaro Morata to leave?

Morata has spent the previous two seasons on loan with Juventus and even though the Old Lady have a buy-in clause, the Italians seem to have decided against a permanent deal for the 29-year-old.

It looks like Morata will be returning to Atletico in the coming weeks and Simeone has no plans to hold onto him either.

ATM are even ready to lower the forward’s value so that Juve agree to take him back and this news seems to have excited Arsenal.

Tammy or Morata: Who will be a better signing for Arsenal?

Both of these players have had a failed stint at Chelsea but then, players who fail to perform for the Blues, usually go on to become megastars.

During his Chelsea stint, Morata scored 24 goals in 72 matches whereas Tammy Abraham had managed 30 in 79 appearances during his time with the Blues.

If Alvaro Morata is available for a bargain deal then he could turn out to be a good signing but we think Arsenal are better off chasing Tammy Abraham because the 24-year-old is in peak form currently.

He’s scored 17 goals in 37 league games for Roma this season while on the other hand, Morata has been a major disappointment for the previous four or five seasons.

According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, Arsenal are chasing multiple strikers but if it’s down to these two then we think the Gunners should opt for Tammy Abraham rather than the 29-year-old Alvaro Morata.
