Manchester United drew their fourth game of the season after they were held to a 2-2 draw by Southampton away from home.

The Saints started the game in fine fashion as they were catapulted to a 2-0 nil and Mark Hughes’ men looked all set to pick up only their second win of the Premier League season.

Thankfully though, United manage to level the game at 2-2 via goals from Romelu Lukaku and Ander Herrera.

But the catalyst for both the goals was Marcus Rashford.

The England international provided assists for both the goal but he failed to see out the whole game after Jose Mourinho replaced him with Anthony Martial late in the second half.

While most fans were angry with their manager’s decision but a small group felt that Marcus Rashford had actually picked up a knock – which could be a serious problem with Arsenal visiting Old Trafford on Wednesday.

Jose Mourinho after the match has confirmed that Marcus Rashford is indeed injured.

So now the big question is, Will Marcus Rashford play against Arsenal?

“Fatigue, he was injured, he was asking to come out,” Mourinho said.

“It was not that kind of injury, some players with that kind of injury do not play for two weeks but Marcus, I am pretty sure will be fine for the next one.

“But it’s one kick here, one kick there, one fall here, one fall there. Fatigue, lots of running, lots of movement, 75 minutes and he was done and we tried then with Martial replacing him.”

The Man United fans can now breathe a sigh of relief especially since Marcus Rashford was by far the best United player against the Saints on Saturday.

And with Alexis Sanchez ruled out with an injury, both Martial and Marcus Rashford can find a place in the starting line-up.
