Arsenal will get back into the Premier League this midweek when they welcome Cardiff City at the Emirates Stadium.

After beating Chelsea, Emery’s men are now just three points adrift that top-four spot and winning this game will be very important for the Gunners.

Arsenal were knocked out of the FA Cup by Man United last week and now getting back into the Champions League is the only major push left for the Emirates outfit.

Arsenal news vs Cardiff:

While the game vs Cardiff should be an easy one for Emery but the manager currently has a number of injury concerns.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has returned back to training after recovering from a metatarsal injury and the player is expected to make it to the matchday squad on Tuesday.

While Mkhitaryan will not be named in the first XI but he may come on during the second half – if needed.

Both Sokratis and Laurent Koscielny picked up serious injuries during Arsenal’s FA Cup loss to Man United and initial reports confirm that neither of them will be available for selection on Tuesday.

This means that Skhodran Mustafi is the only fit centre-back left for Unai Emery and the manager will have no other option but to name a makeshift centre-back.

And we believe that it will be Nacho Monreal who will be named alongside Mustafi.

Hector Bellerin is also ruled out for the rest of the season meaning Lichtsteiner will play as the right-back on Tuesday.

It looks like Aaron Ramsey will not be leaving Arsenal this month meaning the Welshman will start vs Cardiff and once again Mesut Ozil will be warming the benches.
