Arsenal have started the new Premier League season in top form, winning both their games in fine fashion and they will be looking to make it three in a row when they take on AFC Bournemouth.

The Gunners had a wonderful summer transfer window and with all the correct players, Mikel Arteta has done wonders with the squad. Currently, they are playing some wonderful football and if they can keep putting out such fine performances then they are surely one of the favourites to finish in the top four.

Bournemouth go into this game at the back of a 4-0 loss to Manchester City and we are expecting a similar scoreline this weekend as well. There’s very little chance the Cherries are going to pick up something from this game, more so cause they have won just once in their previous six meetings against the Gunners.

Arsenal’s team news for Gameweek 3:

Arsenal are in buoyant form but we think the manager is going to make some minor changes to his starting lineup.

William Saliba did not have the best of outings last weekend and he even scored an own-goal so the Arsenal boss could push him to the bench. Ben White should move back into central defence which will allow Tomiyasu to come into the side.

There have been reports that Mikel Arteta has been really impressed with Lokonga in training and since Bournemouth is not the strongest of opponents there’s a chance he could come into the side.

If Lokonga is coming in then it will probably be for Xhaka but that will be really harsh for the Swiss international because he scored one and assisted one goal against the Foxes.

Zinchenko has made the left-back role his own so there’s very little chance that Kieran Tierney is going to come into the first XI.

Midfielder Fabio Vieira is still recovering from a foot injury and he is not expected to be fit in time for the Bournemouth game.

The attacking line up is the crown jewel for Arsenal right now so unless there’s a late injury, the manager is not going to tinker with his front four.

Gabriel Jesus has taken no time to settle down at Arsenal and against Leicester City, he scored a brace and also provided two assists.

Emile Smith Rowe returned to full fitness and was a substitute in the last game but with Gabriel Martinelli in fine form, the youngster will have to be content with a place on the bench once again.

Arsenal predicted line up vs AFC Bournemouth:

Predicted Starting Line up(4-2-3-1): Ramsdale; Ben White/Saliba, Gabriel, Tomiyasu, Zinchenko; Xhaka/Lokonga, Thomas Partey; Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka; Gabriel Jesus.
