Arsenal welcome Manchester United in the FA Cup this Friday and the Gunners will be looking to keep their good form going.

Unai Emery’s men beat Chelsea in the Premier League last weekend and in doing so they have reduced the top-four points gap to just three points.

But it is not only the Emirates outfit who have benefited from Chelsea’s loss.

Manchester United are tied with points with Unai Emery’s on the league table and the Blues’s loss means that the Red Devils too are just 3 points behind that final Champions League spot.

And football pundit Ian Wright feels that Man United could eventually leapfrog over the Gunners and make it to the top four by the end of the season.

“I think you have to look Manchester United, their emergence,” Ian Wright said(as reported by Goal).

“They’re looking to take someone’s spot from the top four.

“You look at, yes Arsenal, you see what happened at West Ham and then all of a sudden a whole different Arsenal turns up against Chelsea.

“You see Chelsea, we don’t know what Chelsea are getting at the minute. You see Spurs with the injuries and you’ve got Man United just shifting gears.

“I think Arsenal, they’ve got to play like they did against Chelsea. That was much better, the intensity and the closing down. They’ve got to play like that.

“But I think Man United are the big worry for anybody who’s trying to get in the top four – Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea. Man United is a big worry.”

When Unai Emery took over the club during the summer his main aim was to bring back Champions League football back at the Emirates. But unlike Manchester United, the Gunners also have the option of winning the Europa League and getting into the top tier of European football.
