The 2022/23 Premier League season has arrived in the blink of an eye and Crystal Palace vs Arsenal is going to be the curtain raiser for the new campaign.

The Gunners narrowly missed out on a top-four finish last season, ending the campaign on the fifth spot while Palace maintained their steady run in the top division, finishing 12th on the table.

Arsenal have managed to work on their problematic areas during the summer and they have done some of the best business among all the English clubs. Patrick Vieira has also managed to bring in a couple of signings in the previous months but there’s no denying that Mikel Arteta’s side are the overwhelming favourites to win this one.

Arsenal had a superb pre-season as they won each and every game they played but even Palace had a solid outing, losing just one out of their previous five pre-season matches.

The Crystal Palace vs Arsenal game is going to set the tone for the new season but more importantly, the Gunners will have a lot riding on this one. Last season, they made a horrible start to their campaign and that was one of the main reasons why they missed out on Champions League football.

Mikel Arteta will be hoping there isn’t a repeat of the same this year.
