Bournemouth attacking midfielder David Brooks has been in top form this season and multiple clubs have shown interest in signing him up.

Brooks joined the Cherries last summer from Sheffield United and in his very first season alone, the youngster has caught the eyes of many big guns.

During the 2018-19 season, David Brooks has played in 25 Premier League games scoring six goals and providing four assists.

But with his current contract running out in 2022 many experts claimed that Bournemouth would like to hold onto him for one more season before selling him off.

Recently though, David Brooks gave a statement which has immediately put interested clubs like Arsenal and Spurs on high alert.

He said: “I want to play at the highest level possible — whether that is abroad or in England. I don’t know what the future holds for myself.

“Obviously the aim is to get up there and whatever opportunities come, I will have to make the decisions then.

“I am not really expecting it and the reason I signed the contract is I am happy at Bournemouth and the way my progression is going.

“I want that to continue and for the focus not to be on anything else.

“That is why I signed and I am very happy at Bournemouth.”

Arsenal are obviously losing Aaron Ramsey to Juventus during the summer and many rumours claim that Emery is hoping to bring in David Brooks as a long-term replacement.

Spurs too are interested in signing up the 21-year-old and now that the midfielder has revealed his hopes of playing for a bigger club, we suspect a number of clubs would be queuing up to sign David Brooks during the summer.
